As the investigation on Hunter Biden and his financial practices heats up, a prominent House Republican thinks “something is up.” Meanwhile, another GOP face accused the FBI and DOJ of feeding false information about Hunter Biden’s laptop to Twitter, as seen in the video below.

Meanwhile, Rep. Jordan claimed on Sunday that it “certainly appears” like the president’s son is on the verge of being prosecuted, but he admitted he couldn’t be positive. He cited an uptick in reporting on the authenticity of material on a laptop thought to belong to Hunter Biden, which he said coincided with a flurry of grand jury activities.

“You highlighted those two Washington Post items ten days ago,” the Ohio Republican told Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo. “They were four minutes apart, according to my understanding. The first was at 11:00 a.m. At 11:04 a.m., there was one. So, four minutes apart, two eight-page reports from the news outfit that declared 18 months ago there was no story here. This was Russian misinformation. That’s a sign that something isn’t right. That’s something you don’t see the Washington Post do,” as stated in a report.

While N.Y. Post was the first to report on the contents of the neglected laptop, which included emails detailing Biden’s business ties and turbulent personal life, other major media outlets questioned its validity, and Big Tech firms even took measures to limit its spread in the final weeks of the 2020 election.

Jordan, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, said it’s “intriguing” how the “story has progressed” in recent weeks, coinciding with growing suspicions that President Joe Biden himself could be drawn into a federal criminal investigation, despite the White House’s adamant denials that the president is not entangled and that his 52-year-old kid did not commit any crimes.

“That all started with, ‘Oh, it’s not his laptop.’ ‘Well, it must have been his laptop, but it was Russian misinformation,’ they said. ‘No, that wasn’t Russian misinformation, but Joe has nothing to with it,’ says the new line, “Jordan remarked.
