I keep the roster small on purpose. Twenty-five is the number of sites one person can genuinely look after; past that, somebody’s getting an intern. When it’s full, it’s full until somebody leaves.

What I build

WordPress sites

Design and customisation, the plugin decisions that keep a site fast, and the setup that makes it rank. Publishing sites, niche sites, personal brands, the lot.

KVS video platforms

Kernel Video Sharing installs, theming and configuration for people running a video site who want it to look like theirs and earn like a business.

Advertising & monetisation

Ad setup, layout that pays without wrecking the page, and negotiating direct sales with sponsors. I’ve been on both sides of that table.

SEO & traffic

The unglamorous version: structure, speed, internal links, and knowing which of your pages actually deserve to rank. Projects I’ve run have peaked at 350,000–400,000 daily search visitors.

Hosting & domains

Set up, moved, kept running. You shouldn’t have to know what a DNS record is, and with me looking after it you won’t.

Writing

BA in professional writing, bylines at a dozen outlets. Landing pages, about pages, the copy nobody else on the project wants to write.

How it works

  1. Email me what you’re trying to build, what you have already, and roughly what it’s for. A paragraph is plenty. Links help.
  2. I’ll reply with questions, then a scope and a quote. Every job is priced on what it actually involves, not off a rate card, because no two of these are the same.
  3. Build, launch, hand over. You get a site you own outright, on hosting you control, with the logins written down somewhere you’ll find them.
  4. Optional: I keep looking after it. Most clients stay on for hosting, updates and the occasional “can you make it do this.” That’s where the 25 spots come from.

Anyone who wants a guarantee of rankings — nobody honest can give you one. Anyone who needs it by Friday. And anyone who wants a contact form; I don’t use them, because email works and I read it.
